Today I had the pleasure of mending and altering two pairs of pants!
There was a seam in a pair of men's formal slacks that had come undone that I mended (an easy fix!). I love fun and simple fixes like that.
I also did an alteration to a gorgeous pair of True Religion women's denim flare jeans. The woman who owned the jeans wanted to alter the cut from a flare to a boot cut. I took in the outer seams of the legs past the knee, and re-hemmed it. She was quite happy with it, and so was I!
I would have to say that today was definitely a success :) I think I'll call my mother sometime and tell her "thank you". If it weren't for her, I never would've touched the art of sewing - but look at me now! I still have plenty of room to grow - but nonetheless, thanks mom!
